More doodles

I got married (whee!) and moved to Portland, OR. It's so beautiful here, I might have to start painting landscapes soon!

Here's some painterly experiments and a caricature-ish portrait of my husband <3 . All Photoshop CS2.

Congratulations on getting married!

I love the mood and texture you got out of the first two paintings! Are they completely digital or some form of mixed media?

Thanks Zachary! All are done with Photoshop CS2. I added that in the blog post, thanks for reminding!

Hey Shreya,

Here's the process my friend Arron used to do the creature heads:

My technique was pretty similar, with minor changes (I use pretty much exclusively a round airbrush, for example).

To come up with weird shapes that I wouldn't normally think of, I referenced some weird fruit I found in the grocery store. Maybe as I do more, I'll post a step-by-step. Hope this helps,
